Landscape Architecture of the Hudson Valley

  • Beacon Elks 900 Wolcott Avenue Beacon, NY, 12508 United States (map)

May Meeting: May is Historic Preservation Month! Join us to commemorate it as we welcome back researcher and author Alex Prizgintas, the Town Historian for both Woodbury and Tuxedo who earned a minor in Hudson River Valley Studies from Marist University. Alex will discuss “Landscape Architecture of the Hudson Valley,” including Beacon’s Wodenethe, Eustatia (shown) and Tioronda estates in a program that features historic sites in both Dutchess and Orange counties. If you’ve attended one of his past presentations, you know that we’re in for a terrific evening.  We will gather on May 26 at 7 p.m. at Elks Lodge #1493, 900 Wolcott Avenue, and we again thank the Elks for welcoming us into their beautiful and historic home.
