Holiday Open House

Holiday Party: Members are cordially invited to attend our holiday open house on Tuesday, December 15, at the Howland Cultural Center, 477 Main Street. It’s a drop-in event that runs from 6 until 8 p.m.; please feel free to stop in and extend your greetings of the season! We thank our trustees, who donate all the finger foods for this annual affair; we especially appreciate our Super Trustees Liz Foster and Karen Meyer for again volunteering to chair it.

The 1872 center was designed by renowned architect Richard Morris Hunt as our community’s first library; in 1976, the Howland Library moved down Main Street, and the magnificent building became a vibrant cultural center. We’re especially pleased that it will be decked in its holiday finery thanks to volunteers with the Tioronda Garden Club. Come celebrate the season on a high note (as we’ll welcome back the talented Daniel Kelly Trio, who entertained us last year!).

Special thanks to David Schwartz, owner of the Beacon Building,
for once again sponsoring our holiday event!
