Beacons of History Awards: We will present our tenth (!) annual “Beacons of History” awards on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2026, to a business and a group of volunteers who have made substantial contributions to Beacon and helped to preserve our history and sense of community. The 2026 recognition will be presented to Mirbeau Inn & Spa (as business/organizational honoree) and the hundreds of individual volunteers who have served our Beacon Historical Society since our founding 50 years ago. Invitations will be mailed to members after Labor Day.
