October Meeting: Join us October 28 for “Honoring the Memory of our Beacon Veterans,” a presentation featuring various men and women from Beacon history who served with distinction in our nation’s Armed Forces. Men like William B. Wilson (left) the first Beacon soldier to die in the line of duty in World War I. Private Wilson was killed by shell fire on the night of August 19, 1918, near Dickebush Lake, Belgium, on a volunteer mission to retrieve the body of his best friend, Herb Miller of Newburgh. Wilson Post and Wilson Street in Beacon are named after him.

We gather at 7 p.m. at the Elks Club, whom we thank for hosting us. If you are unable to join us in person, we make every effort to stream our monthly meetings live via the Zoom link below; previous meetings can be found under the Past Events tab above.

Our meetings are held on the Fourth Tuesday of each month (unless otherwise noted) at 7 p.m.

If you can’t join us in person, we make every effort to stream the meeting live via this link - just copy and paste to your browser:
