The Boats of Summer - Remembering The Steamboats of the Hudson

Dayliner Historian Andrew Donovan provided an excellent presentation on these amazing ships of days gone by. He has a great interest in the history of Hudson River steamboats, in part because he worked as the Assistant Purser aboard the Steamer Alexander Hamilton, the last sidewheel steamer to sail on the Hudson, during its final season on the river in 1971.
