July Meeting: We’re grateful that Beacon Mayor (and BHS member) Lee Kyriacou has taken time from a busy schedule to join our monthly meeting to discuss the importance of Historic Preservation in Beacon. We gather at the Elks Club at 900 Wolcott Avenue on Tuesday, July 22 at 7 p.m. The Mayor and his wife Elizabeth Barrett own an 1883 Second Empire Victorian home (complete with mansard roof and semicircular “steamboat” veranda). Mayor Kyriacou served nine terms on the Beacon City Council before being elected mayor in 2020.
